Pre-conference Workshops I

Martina Nosková – Journal Writing for Second Language Education and for Life
Place: Room 257, Language Centre building, Komenského nám. 2, Brno
Journaling, or personal writing, is so much more than just an occassional „Dear Diary“ entry. In this workshop, you will experience how you as educators can use journaling techniques as a fun and effective EFL tool with your students as well as for your own benefit as a means of personal and professional development. A few writing techniques will show you that journaling can be one of the best practices you will use both at work and in your personal life.
Mgr. Martina Noskova studied English and Comparative Religions at Masaryk University in Brno and stayed after graduation to teach British Romanticism and Legal English. She keeps writing in her journals and studying the theory of the subject, as well as introducing journal writing both in courses for the general public and for the academia (Dpt. of Special and Inclusive Education – Faculty of Education, Centre of Language Education, Masaryk University).
